Middle East Reaction to Obama, Clinton, US Presidential Election

Without a doubt, the Middle East is intently watching the
developments and outcomes of the U.S. Presidential primaries. With the
United States' deeply involved activities in the region, it's with good
reason that media in the Middle East is paying close attention. After seven years of the
Bush administration's foreign policy which has seemingly created more
chaos versus peace in the region, the largely peace-living
non-extremist communities in the Middle East seek change. Change: a buzz word
in 2008 that spans the world. Several political pundits in the Middle
East note that this US Presidential election presents an opportunity
for the American people to revive its sinking image abroad. The
majority of communities in the Middle East hope that a Democrat is
elected the next US President. And, there seems to be a particular
affinity for Barack
Obama, a man many believe will express more compassion
towards the needs of the suffering around the world.
