Majadi Baruti was born 1969 in Chicago, Illinois. He is a Pan-african Nationalist, freelance writer, poet, activist, former radio broadcast journalist, talk show host and storyteller. Having been dubbed a "Hip Hop Storyteller", he uses ancient African proverbs and life lessons in Hip Hop vernacular. He is also a children’s motivational Speaker.
